Work Text:
- Affection? What's that? He'll not huge on physical affection either way. If you want to cuddle though, he doesn't mind if you do so while he's sleeping as long as you don't wake him up.
- He expects the same work ethic out of you that he does out of his students. If you're being lazy, he won't hesitate to tell you.
- He'll probably give you basic strength training to be able to defend yourself in the case you're ever around during a villain attack, a situation he tries really hard to avoid anyways but just in case.
- First thing he does when he gets home is nap. Make him a pillow fort and you'll win his heart forever.
- He really appreciates it when you wash his hair. If you want physical affection, offer to take a shower with him. Washing his hair will often result in him leaning on you and occasionally falling asleep.
-He's the most impatient person ever when sick or injured in that he WILL NOT take time off. I mean you saw him showing up to class after the USJ attack- it takes a lot of persuading when he's sick to get him to stay home.
- He secretly feels really bad whenever he gets injured because he sees how badly he worries you. He will not, however, do anything about this feeling except maybe apologize.
- He doesn't know how to handle you crying. He won't leave you alone, because he does care, but he also usually won't say much after asking you what's wrong and won't push further if you say nothing or that you don't want to talk about it. He'll just kind of sit there until you stop.
- On special occasions he'll share his sleeping bag with you.
- Since he gets stressed a lot from his jobs, he knows how to handle it and can easily pick up on when you're stressed. He'll probably lecture you or give you a back massage.
- You've never seen him cry before, so you've learned to be really in tune to small shifts that can tip you off to how he's feeling, since he won't say anything himself.
- Tends to think pretty highly of you, so if he thinks you're not living up to your potential, you'll definitely hear it from him. He's big on tough love.
- If you don't want cats... too bad. He has at least three.
- You can't be too clingy around him. He never gets clingy himself and expects the same of you, clinginess annoys him really easily.
- HATES pda
-He does not know what his love language is, so there's a lot of random experimenting. One day when he came home he randomly scooped you up into his arms, then immediately set you back down, saying "that felt weird."
- Next thing he tried experimenting with was quality time, he walked in when you were working and just sort of sat there until you asked him what he was doing.
- Acts of service was just uncomfortable. "What are you doing?" "Putting a blanket on you. You look cold." "I'm alright...." "Here, I made you some cocoa."
- Gifts was kind of cute, you came home to a nice new blanket and warm socks folded on your desk.... the blanket was a moot point though because he is 100% a blanket hog.
- Words of affirmation was clearly what he was least comfortable with. "Hey... I just want to say... you're amazing and I'm very proud of you." Followed by a groan, a hand to his forehead, and him walking out of the room in embarrassment. You followed him to tease him.
- He thinks he's not good enough for you sometimes, but will never say it. You know, though, on the days when he's just a little more attentive. You always make sure to tell him you appreciate it.
- What is nutrition? This man lives entirely on jelly pouches. Cook for him to see a face of sheer bliss.
- He's not a jealous partner. He trusts in your integrity. Believing you'd cheat is just illogical.
- Arguments with him? Good luck. If he thinks you might win he just shuts down and refuses to talk to you. It was cute the first time but it got old pretty fast.
