Summary
The Ancient Ones were sealed away millennia upon millennia ago, leaving human kind able to breathe a collective sigh of relief in their absence. The Ancient Fall from Grace, as many books deemed it, was a monument in history and was often celebrated in most countries as it was viewed as a successful attempt at gaining their freedom and free will. Humans were able to do as they please without the constant divine nattering from the Ancient Ones and were able to rule how they deemed fit.
Many had a Kiezen by their side, a subspecies of the divine Ancient Ones, that many viewed as a sign of human ascension or other otherworldly processes. They were like a half blood to put it simply, possessing both human features with a fraction of the prowess and powers of the Ancient Ones.
However, each Kiezen that has ever stood beside a throne - or more specifically, has visited the Ruins of the Heavens - has whispered about the rise of something.

Summary
You enrolled in U.A. to become a hero for the sake of your parents, who died with their dreams and now followed yours in spirit. Ghosts of pro-heroes past followed you out of respect and admiration while they backed your training.
You and your classmates pushed each other through literal hell as you fought against villains that had claimed the lives of many innocents already.
The final war had left everyone scarred and scared as Japan worked on rebuilding itself.
Students were forever changed, physical and emotional scars running deep through everyone as they recovered slowly each day. You knew the feeling all too well as you coached your classmates through their traumas while coping with your own.
Aizawa-sensei and Present Mic had been on edge ever since they'd been admitted, always seen visiting a certain wing in the hospital for almost hours on end.
They refused to tell anyone, always looking like they'd seen a ghost when they'd come back.
Out of curiosity, you visited the wing while they were cooped with their daily check-ups.

Summary
Starling.
A name immediately shot down the moment those two syllables were uttered. Her name was often accompanied with sharp glares and the occasional flared temper as the elders tried de-escalating the situation. The younger sprites and spirit were left to ponder why this one spirit was cast out from the others, and what they did to elicit such a response from their well-respected elders.
It was quite silly when you thought about it, to be quite honest.
Why you were sentenced to such isolation to begin with.
Only a select few knew the true reason why the poor Starling was left in isolation, everyone else following suit like the lost sheep they acted as.

The COVID-19 Pandemic took the world by surprise, snatching it off its feet and dangling it tauntingly while more and more lives were taken every day.
It was a disaster.
Children were forced inside, watching with horror as the casualty count rose by the thousands. Fear was at an all time high; surpassing the Dark Ages, which was a feat itself, and bringing belief back to square one.
The Guardians were at their wits end as to what to do about this.
So imagine their surprise when a long-lost friend returns. -

Summary
You're fed up with everything at this point. Small actions grated your senses as a feeling of overstimulation hovered over with no end in sight.
It didn't help that the world was stuck in a spiral of destruction and distrust.
The Paranormal Liberal Front may have been disbanded but the repercussions seem to make the victory miniscule in comparison.
The people were starting to get restless, their accusations going bolder as time went on, their anger fueled by the confession a certain villain released.
Heroes were dropping like flies as those who remained were left to pick up the pieces.
Yet here you stand, pinned against a damp alleyway wall by someone you thought to be dead all these years.

Summary
The band didn’t break up with a final show or a dramatic goodbye.

Feelings grow slowly between late nights and unfinished songs. And when the band finally plays again, the sound is different.
But maybe different doesn’t mean wrong...
