Summary
It's a never ending story. Kagome obtains cursed jewel, falls into the well, but is now trapped over fifty years in the past. Hiding Inuyasha's daughter from him in plain sight. “—Sorry!” Kagome blurted, bringing the world to a screeching halt, both hands slapped atop that explosive pressure.
The furious grit wiped right off Inuyasha's face. He’d prepared defenses for her oncoming attack, not her immediate surrender.
She chuckled briefly, and the turnabout horrified him, she’s smiling. “I’m just—” She combed her fingers through her hair, over her ear, and down the length. Combing through that same path over and over as she spoke. “—all over the place. You’re right. I’ve been doing what I had to. It’s okay. It’s okay now.”
