“Did you go potty?” Andrew asked.
Neil shook his head, fingers clenching around the neck of a stuffed dog. Andrew pinned Neil with a stern look as he tried to go back to playing, ignoring Andrew’s hovering presence. The little liar just wanted to keep playing.
A quick hand patted at Neil’s crotch, discovering he was indeed wet, and wide eyes snapped up to Andrew. Neil shook his head more adamantly.
“Nuh-uh,” Neil asserted, “Didn’t go.”
“Bunny.” The firm tone of the pet name had Neil flinching. “We don’t lie in this house.”
