Chapter Text
Oya and Raijin
Chapter One
1.1
It had been two years since Anna had become Queen of Arendelle and although she now felt strong enough to make the decisions for her people, she did love that there was always that bridge that connected her to Elsa. She had her family together now and her family would be expanding in hopefully just a few hours.
“Gotta push them outta me,” Anna repeated to herself as she paced the room in which the doctor had arrived.
Kristoff gently moved forwards and placed a hand on Anna’s back. The two had been married for eighteen months now and the wedding had taken place among the many, many troll guests. They had been hoping for a child but neither of them believed it would be so soon.
“You don’t need to get them out on your own,” he said although he was nervous and excited as well about becoming a dad. He turned to Olaf and Sven who of course were also there. The doctor had started to criticize them for bringing a reindeer into a room where the queen was having a baby but Anna had quickly said that Sven was more family to her than most people. “Come on, get yourself settled and I’ll go get some chocolate or something, I mean, can you eat chocolate when you’re giving birth? I should get some anyway? I know your ---”
“Kristoff, all I need for you to do is stay calm and maybe, you know,” Anna started trying to jump and get the baby out that way but Kristoff held her in his arms and led her back to the bed. “You try to relax and I’ll try to do the same.”
“And we can send one of the servants out for chocolates,” Anna smiled before mouthing ‘please, thank you so much’ to a woman younger than herself.
Kristoff laughed weakly but excitedly. “We’re going to show Grand Pabbie and the rest of them, aren’t we?”
“Of course,” Anna smiled, “They’re family. They’ll be the first ones to know outside of the people in ---”
“Excuse me,” Elsa said cutting her off as Anna sat up quickly to see her, “I hope that you weren’t saying that I wouldn’t be one of the first to know about my niece or nephew,” she said before sitting down next to Anna, “How are you feeling?”
“Frustrated,” Anna said and then pointed to Kristoff, “He’s making me stay in the bed when I know there are faster ways of getting this child out of me.”
Elsa touched Anna’s head gently and then created a small and refreshing cloud duster above her head. “Well,” she began, “First of all, Kristoff, thank you. I know that Anna can sometimes be overexcited,” Kristoff laughed at that, “but I am very glad that she has someone like you to help her calm down when it matters. And Anna, until you are ready to leave this bed, we’re not going to let you leave this bed.”
Elsa kissed Anna on the top of the head, “I am so proud of you.”
“I’m proud of all of us too,” Olaf announced, “Even Kristoff.”
“Hey, I’ve been doing my best at trying to have the dad aesthetic,” Kristoff argued and Sven nodded.
“Well, we’re all here now,” Elsa smiled softly, “And we’re all excited to see what the new addition to the family is. Have you two decided on a name?”
“Not yet,” Kristoff said, “I mean, Anna has picked out like a hundred names that I’ve lost track and all I care about is that they come out happy and health and safe.”
Elsa looked at him and nodded, “Truly, Kristoff, thank you.”
1.2
A few hours later Anna was pushing a tiny baby girl out and Sven was doing his best to keep Kristoff from fainting. He was going to be a father in just a matter of moments although they had prepared themselves for this. The doctor smiles as he cleans the little girl up before noticing that she has blue circles around the top of her head.
“We’ll monitor that,” the doctor said before turning back to Anna, “Are you ready for the second one?”
“The SECOND one!?” Kristoff and Anna said staring at the doctor with round eyes and Elsa blinked surprised but went back to making herself Anna’s support.
“Wow, I didn’t know that that happened,” Olaf blinked, “Probably one of those spring sales when you got pregnant and it was all buy one get one free and it was in the small print which you know…basically nobody reads anyway.
Kristoff laughed but then looked bac at Anna who was as determined as always.
“Let’s do this” Anna said as she steadied herself and Kristoff laughed.
“I love you so much,” he said as he kissed her cheek and they watches as she gave birth to a small boy but this time it was unmistakable, the baby had wavy golden lines almost tattooed into his skin. Both he and the baby girl seemed healthy, they seemed happy, they seemed safe, if not for those markings
Elsa looked down at them and then frowned as she tried to find the right words for them. She hated being in the spotlight, but she could definitely sense them.
“These two, they’re spirits, guardians,” Elsa said, “a new kind, I think, I’m not sure what kind.” Elsa looked at them both, “I’ll do whatever I can to make sure that they are safe and grow up feeling confident and understanding kindness and compassion, I won’t leave you alone.”
“Thanks, Elsa,” Anna whispered as Kristoff blinked, eyes wide and jaw dropped.
“They’re spirits?”

Thank you for reading. My first chapters tend to be a little shorter than others as I use them partially as a way to gauge interest in them. Thank you for reading.
