''I can't believe you guys actually convinced me to watch this.'' Santana said, clearly unimpressed with Rachel and Blaine's pick for their slumber party movie night. They had convinced the entire group (which consisted of Santana, Rachel, Quinn, Kurt, Blaine, and Brittany.) to watch X-Men, which interested neither Kurt nor Quinn, but they trusted their partners' taste enough to give it a try.
''It's been like 2 hours of this guy with the claws fighting this random blue bitch. Can't we at least get back to the cute redhead and her annoying whiny boyfriend?'' Santana chimed in again. The rest of the group had pretty much gotten used to her comments regarding the movie, but some of them at least still tried to counter it.
''Scott's not that whiny, Santana.'' Blaine responded. He and Rachel were the real superhero fanatics of the group, so they were a little annoyed that Santana was trash talking one of their favorite movies. But then again, it was Santana they were talking about.
''You know what, Blaine? I think you and Lady Hummel should dress up as Scott and Logan for Halloween or something. They're pretty much all over each other this entire movie.'' Santana rolled her eyes as she spoke. ''Like you two.'' Blaine and Kurt gave each other a look and laughed. They didn't seem too averse to the idea.
''Wait, am I reading this wrong? I thought Scott and Logan were fighting over Jean.'' Quinn asked, confused by Santana's comment.
''Are you kidding me, Q? This is like the gayest thing I've ever watched! Besides our own lives...'' Santana said, looking around at the rest of the group. Her eyes fell to Brittany last and she shot her girlfriend a quick smile before turning back to the rest of her friends. ''I mean, they literally look like they're gonna make out every five seconds.'' Santana added, ''Besides, Jean and Storm should totally end up togethe-.''
Just then, a sudden sort of shuffling noise came from upstairs. It was decently loud, since most of the group seemed to notice the sound. After a few moments of silence, Rachel spoke up. ''So...did anybody else think that was kinda...creepy?'' She questioned.
''I'm sure it was probably nothing. We're not even watching a horror movie and we're acting paranoid.'' Kurt replied, though he looked a little bit shaky himself. Santana replied to him, ''Those are famous last words, teen gay. I'm gonna go check this out. Anybody have some kind of weapon of mass destruction or something?''
''Well I have Lord Tubbington with me and I'm pretty sure he counts.'' Brittany responded, lifting Lord Tubbington up towards Santana.
''That's a great idea Britt, but I don't want to sacrifice your cat if there really is some psycho up there.'' Santana replied. While her words were usually strung with venom, she spoke to Brittany with no contempt or sarcasm. It just goes to show how much Santana loves Brittany. Even if she won't admit it, she's definitely got a soft spot for people she cares about.
Kurt spoke up again, ''Santana, you do know that 'I'm gonna go check this out' are also famous last words, right?'' he looked at her and added ''Which means I'm going to have to go with you, I guess.''
''Oh my god, this is so cliché.'' Santana said in response, as she grabbed a leftover glass bottle that was lying on the ground, intending to use it as a weapon against whatever was upstairs, if there was anything. ''Alright Hummel, follow me I guess.'' she added as they warily walked up the stairs to check out whatever was making the sound.
