Work Text:

Isen felt an arm tug him quite aggressively into an empty classroom.
He looked down at who could have dared to grab him without his permission, just to see two sharp amber eyes glaring up at him.

This wasn’t the first time Isen was dragged into a room by John (and probably won’t be the last), but John was getting reckless. This was during passing period! People could have seen them—

Just as Isen opened his mouth to tell John off, he saw those angry eyes again and shut his mouth. “Better not anger him more,” Isen thought to himself, looking down.

John dragged him over to a desk, before pressing Isen against it.
Again, not the first time, but… it was still nerve-wracking. His heart pounded, heat spreading to his cheeks as his hands found their way to John’s shoulders like usual.

And of course, like usual, John’s hands made their way to Isen’s waist, his lips smashing against the other’s.

Isen and John have had this little routine for a while now.
Whenever one of them wanted to let off some steam, they’d pull the other aside and make out. They never talked about it, but the situation worked for both of them.
Isen wouldn’t admit it outright (to anyone except John anyway), but he somewhat liked the harsh treatment. And John… Isen didn’t know what John wanted, actually. He knew the aggressive boy would never like him, not romantically. Either way, it worked out.

Isen was ripped out of his thoughts by John pressing him further against the desk, gripping him tightly. “Okay, fuck— that’s actually starting to hurt a bit too much,” he thought to himself, tensing as John slid his tongue between Isen’s lips.
Isen hesitantly pressed his hand against the other’s shoulder, trying to put temporary distance between them.

“Gentle,” he whispers, squirming.

“Sorry,” John grunts in response and loosens his grip, apologetically rubbing his thumb against the fabric of Isen’s waist.

Isen relaxed slightly, before returning the kiss. He parted his lips, inviting John to kiss him deeper.

Maybe it was because John felt bad, but he kissed him more sweetly than usual today. But Isen wouldn’t dare ask him, so he can only speculate. He wasn’t one to complain though, a change of pace is nice one in awhile.

Isen moved his hand to the back of John’s head, beckoning him to come closer. He eagerly reciprocated, leaning over Isen as he pressed his body against his.
John slid his hands to the little space below Isen’s butt and hoisted him up on top of the desk, separating their lips briefly.

Panting, Isen opened his eyes to see that John’s were already open.
“Of course someone like him would keep his eyes open while making out,” he thought to himself. Part of Isen felt a bit comforted by it though, it made him feel seen. Figuratively, that is.

John wedged himself between Isen’s legs and pressed his lips against the other’s once more, their tongues meeting again.
Isen’s neck was craned low, his back uncomfortably hunched to accommodate the shorter boy.

Just then, the door to the classroom flew open.

“ISEN! Are you okay—“ Came a worried feminine voice which Isen recognized as Remi. Her voice stopped abruptly though, likely from the shock of the situation.

There was silence as John’s lips left Isen’s, whipping his head around to stare at the open entrance.
“I’m dead,” Isen thinks to himself, taking longer than John to slowly turn his head towards the door.

There in the doorway, stood a shocked looking Remi, along with Blyke and Arlo, who probably came along thinking they had to save Isen’s sorry ass.

He then spotted a startled and flustered looking low tier boy, one he recognized from the Safe House. That must’ve been why they showed up. That boy must’ve seen Isen being dragged in here, and went to tattle.
“GAH! Why do I have to have such good friends?!” Isen pitifully thought to himself.

“Oh!” Remi murmured, standing there with a stunned look on her face.

Isen averted his gaze, unable to look at their faces again. He could care less what Arlo thought, but Blyke just looked so disgusted.
“Couldn’t you do better than him?” Isen can imagine him saying.
Isen could do better! So much better! It’s just uh… John was hot? Actually, Isen doesn’t know why he sticks with him.

“It’s not what you think!” Isen squeaks out, raising his arms. “He was threatening me! Uh- yeah! Just threatening me, we weren’t doing anything weird, promise!” He scrambles for an excuse.
This earns a glare from John, who backs away.
Isen’s waist suddenly feels empty.

“Threatening you?!” John yells. “They’re gonna think I assaulted you! Can’t you come up with a better excuse?” He barks, likely just trying to direct his anger at anyone.

“EEP!” Isen yelps, bringing his arms over his face to protect himself. “Sorry! I just—“

“Hey— what’s going on here?” Blyke speaks up, stepping into the room.

“None of your damn business!” John yells back.

“It is my business! I just saw you forcefully exchanging saliva with my friend!” Blyke retorts.
“Wait— Blyke,” Remi cuts him off. “I mean… that’s a bit far. Isen’s arms were around John, so.. I don’t think it was forcefully,” she corrects, blushing in embarrassment as she says this.

“God, this is humiliating,” Isen silently curses himself, wishing he had just stayed silent.
He hesitantly checks the doorway, finding only the low tier boy standing awkwardly there. Arlo seemed to have left, thankfully. Probably decided it wasn’t worth his time.

“Isen!” Blyke barks, causing Isen to involuntarily whimper and whir his head around to look at Blyke. “Is this true? Were you.. fraternizing with the enemy?”

“Uhm…!”

“Don’t change the subject!” John snarls. “Why are you barging in? This is a private.. er… meeting!” he says, his voice cracking and his cheeks flush.

“I see…” Remi murmurs, a pensive look on her face. She glances over at Isen worriedly, but also seeming stern and maybe a bit disappointed in him.
“Kill me now!” Isen thinks to himself.

“Remi, we’re going!” Blyke says, grabbing Remi’s wrist. “I don’t want to look at this traitor,” he grumbles, exiting the room as Remi follows.
The low tier must have got scared and left already because after Remi and Blyke left, nobody was there.

“Totally ruined the mood,” John mumbles to himself, heading for the exit after he’s sure the other two are gone. “I’m leaving,” he says a bit louder.

“Ah,” was all Isen could muster. He was left there shaken and alone, still sitting on the desk.

He was definitely NOT excited for school tomorrow.
