Chapter Text
After Alicia sacrificed herself to save her friend, Ali, from Cero's grasp. She got sucked into the black hole and woke up in an empty void with glitches all over.
"Where am I…" Alicia mumbled, while massaging her temples. She walked around the void, trying to find an exit when she stumbled upon a rainbow triangular glass shard with a blurry image displayed on it. "Hmm..." Alicia thought, bending down to inspect the shard. Just then, the triangular glass shard increases it's size. Alicia quickly whipped out her bow and aimed it at the shard and narrowed her eyes while her mouth forming a frown. Just then, the blurry image that was on the shard became crystal clear, and an image of Alicia beaming with pride with IRIS while staring at the crowd in front of her. "What? How does the shard have my memories?" She thought. Just as she was about to shoot the huge triangular shard, many other shards rose as well, all humungous in size, all of them playing parts of her memory.
The time when she, despite General Rama's refusal, still snuck into the missions as "The Masked Troublemaker."
The time when she said that Ali should just leave MATA to ease the burden he gave everyone.
The time where despite the 'Gegas Protocol' being activated, Ali still ignored the mission objective to stop Dos and Trez from running away with the stolen Azurium and risked his life to save her from the Azurium reactor that Dos activated even though she literally insulted his whole existence.
The time where Agent Jenny or rather Cinco betrayed MATA and revealed that she had been working for Uno all along
The time she got permission from her father to enter the MATA academy and train to become an official agent, although her main purpose going there was to protect IRIS, she was still over the moon (though she did not show it) as being an agent was always her dream.
The time where Agent Zain died to save MATA agents from any casualties.
The time where Ali vowed to become a super agent, even without IRIS.
The time where the MATA Academy members all gathered to have a camp together.
The time where she realized that Agent Kim was a traitor as well.
...
And it broke.
The humungous triangular shards broke into a million pieces, just like memories breaking apart. And they floated away, every last piece of the triangular glass shards, gone. Before she could react, a pang of pain hit Alicia's head. She tried to fight the pain, she was not done yet! But she failed. She saw the world spin around her, before once again fainting into oblivion.
"Alicia...Wake up...Don't you want to go on missions anymore?" A familiar yet unfamiliar voice sounded...
When Alicia woke up once again, she was laying on soft, white mattress and was in what looks like a sick bay. She looked around and saw a bunch of people with their faces blurred, surrounding her. The man with a cool-looking mustache pulled her into a hug while sounding extremely worried. "Icha" He said. Just then, a woman with a low ponytail on her shoulder told the man with a cool-looking mustache something, and he looked as pale as a ghost.
A boy with a rather interesting hairstyle where his hair is arranged in stiff tuffs to his right raised and pointed his fist to Alicia. “Glad you’re okay, Alicia!” He gleefully said, his tone laced with relief and happiness. Alicia, wary that the boy might hurt her, backed away slightly, while staring at him with a suspicious gaze.
Alicia then looked around her, confused, she saw nothing but distorted faces. It was like the universe no longer wanted her to know them. Alicia looked down, trying to recall something, but could not. All of her memories have been wiped out, and she no longer recognise anyone she once knew.
Finally, she looked up, and uttered the dreaded sentence:
"Who are you all?"
