Work Text:
Raine stumbled into the kitchen, holding their arms out around them like they were in the dark. It took Eda only a moment to recognize that they were not wearing their glasses.
"Is this some kind of self-imposed challenge, Rainstorm?" she asked, confused. "Trying to see if you can get through the day without your glasses? It's admirable, but I really have my doubts, sweetheart"
"No" Raine shook their head, stumbling into a chair. "My glasses are missing"
"Oh, shit"
"I don't know where they went. I looked everywhere" they said miserably. "I think I can get new, cheap ones fairly quickly, but it'll still be a whole week"
"It'll be alright" Eda soothed, sensing the spike in her partner's anxiety. "I can be, like, your guide dog"
This earned a laugh out of the bard, and Eda watched as the stress in their body lowered.
"You're so corny"
"You love it" Eda teased. Raine smiled.
"Yeah" they said contentedly. "I do"
