Bron didn't sign up for this. He's not really complaining, but let the record show that he didn't sign up for this. And by this he means…..this. Dean and Seth are currently wrestling each other, rolling around on the floor, and Roman is nowhere to be found. Dean had regressed, Seth following soon after, and then Roman, that traitorous handsome bastard, had up and left him with two rowdy littles. He has no idea where the Samoan left to, just that he's nowhere to be found.
“Puppy wanna play?”
He's brought out of his thoughts by Dean's voice, and by Dean tugging on the bottom of his pants. He's still on the floor, Bron thinks he's trying to pin Seth but he's not too sure, so he's looking up at Bron with wide, hopeful eyes. Bron feels like a bit of an asshole suddenly.
“Sorry baby, I'm not feeling too puppy-like right now.”
Both the men whine at him, and he frowns.
“Maybe later, but right now I'm trying to make lunch, ok?”
“Juice?” Seth shoots up, nearly hitting Dean's head and then the counter in the process. “Please?”
“Yeah, you can have some juice. Apple or Orange?”
Roman would know what Seth wants, Bron thinks bitterly. He's not actually angry at the man, he just wishes some warning would have been nice before he disappeared. Seth hums in thought, clicking his tongue a few times before he responds.
“Orange?”
Dean lets out a fake gag, and Seth immediately swats him a few times on the shoulder in retaliation.
“Hey! No mean hands, ok? Dean, please don't gag, you know Seth doesn't like it.”
Dean huffs, leaning his back against the counter and crossing his arms. “But is disgustin'.”
“Well everyone has different opinions, so be nice.” He wiggles some cheese in Dean's general direction, in a fake-threatening manner. He's making the boys sandwiches, he figured that would be the easiest option. He's not the world's greatest cook, but definitely not the worst, he just wanted something easier to make.
He puts the sandwiches on two plates, setting his and Roman's aside for later, and cuts them into triangles. He's seen Seth do this before for Dean, so he hopes both the boys like it. He gets two sippy cups out of the cabinet, filling one with apple juice and the other with orange juice, turning to look at Dean in slight disappointment when he goes to fake gag again.
“Dean.”
“‘M sorry.”
“Thank you for apologizing, baby. Now, can you two carry your cups to the living room?”
Dean has his sippy cup, and Seth is using an old one of Dean's until they can get one just for Seth, but this will have to do for right now. The two scramble off the floor, taking their cups and racing to the couch, poking at each other occasionally. He already has Bluey up on the screen, he had tried to calm them down earlier enough to watch this, but that had failed. Bron sighs, placing their plates down in front of them.
“Thank you, puppy!”
“I'm n- you're welcome, Dean.” There's no use in arguing with the man, so he just smiles. Seth also tries to thank him, but he has so much sandwich shoved in his mouth that it just comes out as a jumble.
“Can I trust you two not to make a mess if I leave for a moment?”
They both nod, eyes glued onto the TV, and he sighs, heading towards the bathroom. He opens the door, freezing when he sees a lump in the bathtub. It looks like Roman's weighted blanket, but it looks like it's moving? Bron slowly gets closer, peeling the edge of the blanket back, and stifles a gasp of shock when he makes eye contact with Roman, just the top half of his face showing.
“There you are! Dude, you left me alone with them-” He stops. There's something off about Roman. His eyes have a softer, but scared look to them, and Bron moved the rest of the blanket back. Roman's curled up, clutching a pillow, with his pacifier in his mouth, and suddenly things make a lot more sense.
“Oh baby.” He frowns, reaching out to move some of the hair out of Roman's face. “Why are you hiding in here?”
Roman just stares up at him for a few moments before he slowly spits his paci out, mumbling. “Is loud.”
“The other two were being too loud?”
Roman nods shyly, and Bron can feel his heart melting.
“Would you like to come out now? I made us sandwiches.”
Roman shakes his head ‘no’ but his stomach growls soon after, and he looks away from the other man in embarrassment.
“Would you like me to bring your sandwich in here?”
The taller man nods, clutching onto the pillow tighter, squishing his face against it. This is probably one of the cutest things that Bron's ever seen, and all of the annoyance he had towards him earlier is completely gone. He hurries to the kitchen, peeking his head into the room to make sure Dean and Seth are still entertained, they are, and he heads back to the bathtub. He slightly closes the door behind him, sitting down on the floor in front of the tub. He holds the sandwich out to Roman, expecting him to take it, but instead the Samoan just leans forward, and takes a bite from Bron's hand.
Roman hums, smiling softly. “Thank you, pup.”
The nickname makes Bron smile, even though it doesn't necessarily apply in this situation. Roman eats his whole sandwich like that, taking small bites out of Bron's hand until he's finished.
“Do you want to go back to the outside?” Bron asks softly, not wanting to put any sort of pressure on the man. Roman hums for a bit before he nods, placing his pacifier back in his mouth, wrapping his blanket around himself. He doesn't move at all, so Bron has to awkwardly lean into the bathtub to pick him up, but the giggle he gets from the Samoan makes it worth it. He carries him back to the living room, cursing the fact that the blanket is weighted, and plops him down on the couch. The other two have, surprisingly, stacked their empty plates together, and are now cuddling while watching the tv.
“I found Roman!”
They both gasp, looking over at him.
“Baby!” Seth nearly shouts, wiggling his way over to Roman, and Bron lays a hand on his chest.
“He's a bit overwhelmed right now, so we should all be careful, ok?”
Seth nods and continues his wiggling, this time quieter, not stopping until he's wrapped around Roman on one side, a hand playing with his hair. Dean plops himself down on the side of Roman, and gently pokes him in the nose.
“Wan Mr. Quack?”
Roman hesitates, then nods shyly, and Dean places the duck stuffie under Roman's chin, tucking it into his arms. He cheers a little, making Roman smile around the paci, and leans down to kiss his forehead.
“Deeeeean.” Seth whines until Dean kisses him on the forehead too, then he happily turns back to the tv. Bron takes the plates off the coffee table, bringing them back to the kitchen. Sure, it was a bit chaotic suddenly having a group of littles on his hands, but Seth does it all the time, so it must be possible. Bron's chest is filled with this warm feeling as he watches the three of them cuddle, and he smiles, eating his sandwich as he does so, and he figures the feeling must be love. He wouldn't mind looking after them in the future, but maybe some warning would be nice.
