    “凡属落洞的女子，必眼睛光亮，性情纯和，聪明而美丽。必未婚，必爱好，善修饰。平时贞静自处，情感热烈不外露，转多幻想。间或出门，即自以为某一时无意中从某处洞穴旁经过，为洞神一瞥见到，欢喜了她。因此更加爱独处，爱静坐，爱清洁，有时且会自言自语，常以为那个洞神已驾云乘虹前来看她……到末了，女子便渐渐瘦下去，终于死去，死时且显得神气清明，美艳照人。真如诗人所说：‘她在恋爱之中，含笑死去。’家中人多泪眼莹然相向，无可奈何。只以为女儿被神所眷爱致死。料不到女儿因在人间无可爱悦，却爱上了神，在人神恋与自我恋情形中消耗其如花生命，终于衰弱死去。”
