Jade is one of the few humans I can imagine putting up with Eridan as he is in canon; I wish more fics explored their potential for friendly take-no-nonsense respect. This adorable snippet features Fearless Adventurer Jade and an Eridan who isn't letting a complete lack of preparation stop him from intruding.
