Summary
Maya and Carina grew up on opposite sides of a small town, one with privilege and popularity and the other on the wrong side of the tracks. On Carina’s high school graduation night their worlds collide and everything tragically changes, for them both, bringing them together in ways neither would ever have expected.
Now, 20 years later Carina returns to the same town she has vowed to never set foot in again after that summer, only to run into the last person she thought she’d ever see again after the way they left things.
