Work Text:
He saw them approaching from afar, familiar yet out of place in the sea of the festival crowd.
Louis knew them—intimately.
He’d run his fingers over their smooth surface, traced strong muscle, barely covered. Buried his face where seams met sun-kissed skin. Inhaled heat, and want, and him.
When they got close, he dropped his gaze, lest he draw suspicion.
Adoring arms opened.
Louis sank into them, exhaling for the first time in days. “You alright, mate?” he asked. Casual, for the onlookers’ benefit.
I’ve missed you, my love, is what it meant. You and your tiny red shorts.
