    The rolling blackouts were announced days in advance, and they prepped how they could, but now that they were here, it was miserable. The house had been warm all day, but the final rays of sunlight had made it hot. Astarion had already stripped to only his underwear and a robe, with Gale most likely doing the same. It was too hot for clothes, and too hot for candles, which were giving off even just slight heat but it was more than Astarion could bear.
