“It’s quite the aphrodisiac,” she purrs as she hands me the bottle. “Believe me. It will make you feel pleasure like you’ve never experienced before.”
I raise my eyebrow at the bottle. I twist it around in my hand, watching the liquid slosh around.
“Is this some sort of drug? Because I don’t want to…”
“No, no,” she places a reassuring hand on my knee. “Trust me, okay? It’s all perfectly natural. Just an aphrodisiac, like I said. Please, I worked really hard on it.”
I’m pretty sure my inability to say no to a pretty girl will cause my downfall one day, because I find myself giving in right away. She seems like such a nice girl, surely she wouldn’t actually poison me? And to be fair, I’m feeling quite thirsty as well - in fact, the more I’m looking at the soda, the more parched I’m becoming.
