If Kiyoomi could list down three signature scents he memorizes by heart, they would be (1) shea butter shampoo, which his mother used to over restock on his dorm way back college, (2) clinical neroli-scented hand sanitizer, he doesn't save anyone other than his immediate family on his contact except this one time that he had to ask about the dental clinic's hand sanitizer and (3) lavender fabric conditioner, his grandmother hung his favorite, already worn out, design almost fading, blanket with this fabric conditioner every summer during their visits at their old family house. The similarity of the three being how they are care in disguise, not scent for mere impression.
And scent goes straight to memory so, if one train ride back home tucks him to brief nostalgia, Kiyoomi might have just try to stay for a bit, missed a few stops and long to inquire as to what brand of fabric conditioner that passenger was using.
