Summary:

IN THE PROCESS OF REWRITING BECAUSE I HATE THE PLOT. THE PLOT IS BAD. I probably won’t be updating this for a while.

Seventeen year old Reader Sonus was never allowed off the palace grounds. With a high wall surrounding the kingdom to keep threats out, it was simply never ethical, nor safe, for a princess. So in the palace she stayed, keeping to her books and educating herself for her future. But as teenagers are, Reah was curious; the books that occupied her time fed her information about what was out there. Although the castle was home, what laid beyond was far too enticing for even the most misanthropic to resist. Bloodthirsty dragons, riddling gnomes, shady warlocks, and egoistical princes, there are just too many threats to count. A simple task, really, to stay inside the walls...but some rules were just asking to be broken.

-Mildly misogynistic themes (not anything too bad, just pirates being stinky and parents pressuring Rhea into marriage)
-Violence (No over the top gory descriptions, but there will be blood and fighting and maybe possibly character death *there is definitely character death)
-There is NO smut, I am a minor so I'm not gonna write that

The Kingdom of Arbuscula ➸ Home to the Sonus lineage, also known as the verdant or lush kingdom

The Inarizaki Crew ➸ A feared brigade of pirates and thieves terrorizing the land

The Town of Karasuno ➸ The neighboring village to Arbuscula, known to be peaceful but can be unpredictable

The Warlocks of Nekoma Forest ➸ A group of sheltered magic users residing in the maze-like Nekoma woodland on the west-most end of Languor

The Academy of Seijoh ➸ The prestigious school of knighthood for all of the most eligible princes in the land

The Fukurodani Tribe ➸ The mysterious cave dwellers spread about the continent

*In case you didn't read it in the desc, I use Reah (short for Reader) instead of [name] or (y/n) cause writing that over and over again drives me crazy and takes forever; this is a haikyuu x reader- I won't be giving any specific descriptions of appearance (Sonus just means voice in latin and it just sounds pretty but it's another substitute)
