It was quite early in the morning, meaning the sun rays were making their way through the blinds and curtains and onto Furina which made her face scrunch up a bit. She grumbled and fluttered her eyes open a bit but.. wait.. this really doesn't feel like a pillow.
She sat up and rubbed her eyes to look down and she noticed the Pyro archon?! Oh, right... Mavuika came to visit this time since Furina can't handle the heat in Natlan. They haven't been together for long but some people already know anyway.
It was surprising how Furina could even handle sleeping on Mavuika anyway, the archon's body temperature was quite warm... naturally anyway, it was quite obvious why. The hydro archon's face flushed a bit as she turned her gaze away, she was too tired for this.
When her head was turned away she felt a small poke on her cheek which caused Furina to look back and return her attention back on Mavuika who was looking up at her, the archon's face was always gentle and soft when she looked at Furina.
"Ah, Mavuika. How l-long have you been awake.." Furina asked, holding onto Mavuika's hand as her eyes averted to them. Mavuika's hands were bigger and scarred while Furina's hands were petite and soft.
Mavuika hummed in response and looked at their hands as well, "not long, I expect you're the same.". Furina just nodded while her gaze returned to Mavuika's eyes, beautiful like the hot sun.
"I'm... still tired, I will admit.." Furina mumbled after a short while. Mavuika then sat up and wrapped her arms around the smaller woman's waist and held her tightly, hiding her face in Furina's neck. Was Mavuika's body always this heated.
The hydro archon's face burned up, this was overwhelming. Furina wrapped her arms around Mavuika in return, burying her head too and closed her eyes. She felt so safe with this woman, so loved. After a comfortable silence there was a little kiss planted on Furina's skin.
Mavuika's lips were so... soft and pleasant. The pyro archon pulled away and looked into Furina's eyes, their foreheads resting against one-another. It was the sun meeting the ocean. Mavuika smiled and muttered lovingly "You have very pretty eyes, Lady Furina."
The smaller woman chuckled as the tips of her ears turned a little red "You flatter me so, Mavuika!". The pyro archon tilted her head and held Furina's cheek in her hand "I don't think I flatter you enough!"
"I don't think that's necessary!"
"Yes it is."
"No."
"Yes."
"Mavu--"
Furina eventually got cut-off by Mavuika's lips on her forehead, leaving a lingering feeling on her skin. Her eyes widened and her face was close to being bright red. "Hey! That's not fair."
Mavuika then laughed, "And how isn't it?"
"Because you--" once again, Furina's words got stopped mid sentence as she felt Mavuika kiss the cheek she wasn't holding in her palm. They both stared into eachothers eyes after that till they eventually kissed so delicately.
Mavuika's lips were just... So lovely to feel, they were warm and soft and they never failed to make Furina safe and fuzzy inside. When their lips eventually pulled away from eachother that's when Mavuika began peppering Furina's face with those small kisses which made Furina squeal into flustered laughter.
"Mavuika!"
"You need... All the love... In the world." Mavuika mumbled in-between kisses, a smile drawn on her face.
Furina continued to laugh till she was pinned under Mavuika, but the pyro archon still wasted no time pecking Furina's face with her lips which made the smaller woman began squealing again.
When Mavuika eventually pulled her head away from Furina's, the hydro archon took a breath and stared back at the woman on top of her, feeling tingles all over her face.
"You... You really like kissing me."
"Of course, I want you to be happy."
Furina's gaze dropped, still catching her breath till her eyes returned to Mavuika's again, "... Thank you.." she whispered. The pyro archon's smile lightened a little as she delicately pressed her lips on Furina's forehead again then rested on Furina's chest.
The hydro archon felt like she was going to overheat and melt with Mavuika on her, but she could manage... For now at least. She was still drowsy, even if the kisses woke her up slightly.
Furina immediately shut her eyes and stroked Mavuika's hair, which made the pyro archon relax a bit more.
"... Love you, Fufu.."
"Mh, love you too."
