Anakin had just come back from training with Ahsoka and he had been talking to Obi-Wan when Rex called him over.
"It seems it is true yours and Ahsoka's training is going well,no?" Obi-Wan said walking next to Anakin.
"Yes,it is,Master.Actually-" Anakin said as Rex interrupted him.
"Sir,may I speak to you for a moment.It's about the mission we recently went on." Rex said appearing behind him.
"I'll talk to you later,Master." Anakin said leaving to follow Rex.
Obi-Wan always noticed certain things about Anakin that was the only real gift he had with his former Padawan and he
noticed how when Rex called him over his eyes lit up like a Christmas tree.
But Obi-Wan just thought that perhaps Anakin was just happy to see his friend so he payed no mind to it.
They walked to Anakin's quarters (which wasn't actually that far it was maybe a little less than 3 feet away)
Once they got into Anakin's quarters Rex practically tackled him to the bed.
"So this how we're starting,huh?" Anakin said with his arms pinned to the bed.
"Wipe that grin off you're face." Rex said as he kissed him a moment later.
Elsewhere.....
Ahsoka was wondering the halls looking for her Master, Anakin.
She was excited because she knew what today was,Anakin had promised that they'd celebrate she was hoping he hadn't
forgotten
But,truth be told Anakin had forgotten lots of things so she had a feeling he'd forgotten but hopefully he didn't.
So Ahsoka naturally went looking for Obi-Wan because he somehow always knew where Anakin was.
Thankfully she ran into him in the halls,
"Master,Kenobi." Ahsoka said flagging him down.
"Well,hello Ahsoka. What might you need?"
"I'm looking for Anakin,have you seen him?"
"Yes,yes,I have.He's with Rex. They're most likely in his chambers you'll most likely find him there."
"Thank you,Master Kenobi." Ahsoka said running off.
Ahsoka finally got to Anakin's chamber's she heard weird noises coming from inside the room.
"Master?" Ahsoka said as she knocked.
The noise stopped for a brief moment inside she heard Anakin's voice yelling at someone else.
She pressed her ear against the door,
"Shit,hurry up.this isn't mine it's yours." Anakin said muffled through the door.
"Well,this isn't my chest plate,now is it?" Rex said muffled through the door.
"Rex?" Ahsoka said confused.
All of suddenly it sounded as if somone was running towards the which made Ahsoka back away from the door.
"Ahsoka,wha-what are doing here?" Anakin said nervously.
"Well,Master-are you ok?You're sweating a lot." Ahsoka asked.
"Yes,i'm fine,Snips." Anakin said smiling nervously.
"Ok....well,Master you said we'd celebrate today.You haven't forgotten have you?"
"No,no,of course not." Anakin said obviously lieing.
"You forgot haven't you?" Ahsoka said disappointed.
"*Sighs* Yes,I forgot.I'm sorry,Ahsoka."
"It's ok,Master.Today wasn't tha-" Ahsoka said as thud came from inside the room.
"What was that?" Ahsoka said looking around.
"Nothing.And Tell me wha-what was today?" Anakin said stepping out of the doorway.
"Today was the anniversary of the day you adopted me.Remember,Master?" Ahsoka said with sad look in her eyes.
It all of suddenly clicked in Anakin's head,
"Yes,yes,I do remember.In fact,hold on let me grab something real quick." Anakin said reentering the room.
She could yet again here some type of commotion coming from inside,
"Get out of there,Rex.I need to grab something." Anakin said as another voice argued back with him.
("That's it I'm going in there.") Ahsoka thought.
"Master,what's going on.......?" Ahsoka said as she noticed something was off.
The bed was messy even though Anakin always made his bed(she would know she lives with him) and there was a few stuff on the floor.
A few moments later it clicked that Anakin and Rex were together,
"OH!" Ahsoka practically yelled.
"WAIT YOU AND REX ARE TOGETHER?"
Anakin snapped his head towards her,
"NOT SO LOUD." Anakin said in yell that sounded like a whisper.
Anakin ran over to her and brought her in the room.
Rex stayed quiet as this was not the right moment to be talking.
"Why didn't tell me,Master? I'm can keep a secret.You could've told me." Ahsoka said looking up at Anakin.
"You can keep a secret,really? Remember when I adopted you and it took you less than 24 hours to snitch on me to Obi-Wan AND the council?"
"That was ONE TIME.AND was it my fault that was excited?" She said sassy.
"Ok,ok it wasn't your fault.But this one can not tell Obi-Wan or the council,ok?" Anakin said getting down to her height.
"So,Rex is kinda like my other dad?"
"Uhh..." Anakin said as Rex interrupted him,
"Kinda,kid.Maybe one day." Rex said looking over to Anakin.
"Oh,that's pretty cool.Master,What were you going to be me?" Ahsoka said with a more happy tone.
"OH,yeah,yeah." Anakin said grabbing something from the table,
"Here,Snips." Anakin said handing her something.
She opened the box and her eyes instantly lit up,
"I love it,Skyguy."
Inside the box was a new head dress Anakin knew how much she needed a new one,
"I hope you like it,Snips." Anakin said smiling.
"I do,thank you,Master!" Ahsoka said hugging Anakin.
Rex thought it might nice to be apart this little family but he knew it would probably never happen but still he thought it was sweet the way Anakin
talked to Ahsoka.
Much Later.....
Since Anakin and Rex were so close no one ever questioned all the time they spent together.
Everyone expect Obi-Wan.
Obi-Wan noticed everything no one else noticed(especially about the people he cared about ).
He noticed how Anakin and Rex were spending all that time together so naturally he asked Anakin about it,
"So Anakin you and Rex spend an awful lot of time together. Is there a mission you two are talking about that we're an unaware of?"
"No,no mission,Master. Nothing important just two friends having fun, that's it." Anakin said in a nervous tone.
"Alright,well if that's it then i'll be on my way." Obi-Wan said as he walked away.
Anakin breathed a sigh of relief.
Obi-Wan knew he was lieing he could just sense it so instead of asking Anakin he asked Ahsoka,
"Hello there,Ahsoka. May I ask you a question?" Obi-Wan asked appearing behind her.
"Ah! Master Kenobi I-I didn't see you there.And uhh yeah go ahead." Ahsoka said in nervous matter.
"Do you know why Rex and Anakin spend so much time together?" Obi-Wan asked with soft smile.
"Why?Are you against them spending so much time together?" Ahsoka said with some anger in her voice.
"No,no not at all.I'm just curious is all."
"I can't tell he told me not to tell you and that it would get me into trouble."
"I won't tell him if you won't."
"You promise you won't tell him?"
"I promise."
"Anakin and Rex they are....together as in they're dating."
"Thank you,Ahsoka for being so honest. I will see you soon." Obi-Wan walked off.
He wasn't going to out Anakin because he knew better than out him or get Ahsoka in the wrong so instead he said
one thing to him
One day it was the two of them on a standard mission and Obi-Wan decided to break the silence,
"You know,Anakin, you were always like a brother to me. And you know no matter what you do you I will always be there for you."
Obi-Wan said facing Anakin.
"I know,Master. Where is this coming from?" Anakin said facing him as well.
"Nowhere.I'm just saying you could LITERALLY do anything and I will always stand by you,Anakin." Obi-Wan said with a smile on his face.
Anakin knew what Obi-Wan was talking about and he let out a soft chuckle when he realized,
"She told you didn't she?"
"Yes,she did.But she told me not to tell you."
"At least she finally listened to me."
Obi-Wan put the ship on Auto-pilot and hugged Anakin.
"Why are you hugging me,Master?" Anakin asked confused.
"Because I can Anakin. I love you,brother and nothing will change that."
"You too,brother and thank you,Obi-Wan."
