Anyone who chose to be a sailor had an itch under their skin, the itch to feel salty air blow against their skin. The freedom the ocean brought was a unique feeling, with the big blue spanning beneath and above oneself endlessly stretched on. Sailors also most often died on the sea, nobody was surprised. One storm could drown an entire crew. One voice could doom a single man.
