“Ashswag, God of chaos. The counsel sentences you to live among humans until you learn to fix your ways”
Normally he’d rebel, fight back or do anything really but he couldn’t not this time, not in front of him. Ash looked over the crowd until he saw him Recall, his younger brother. Before ash ascended and got adopted by The god of bloodshed and war Recall was the only family he had after his village was destroyed he'd never forget coming home after his hunting training and seeing everyone dead, the smell, the cries of his hunting team, Recall still a baby covered by their parents bodies covered in their blood
“God of chaos, any last words?” said Branzy, his other adopted father, the god of redstone and progress. Ash could tell he was holding back tears.
Ash looked over at Clown, the one who took him in when nobody else would, then Branzy who taught him almost everything he knows, and then finally Recall his hope, light, and his reason for living, his brother. Ash knows he should say something to give his family comfort. But he couldn’t find the words
Ash looked at his feet “No, i don’t have anything to say.” he heard Recall and Branzy gasp.
“Very well, enjoy the human world Ash.”
Before everything faded to black he heard Recall scream he couldn’t make out what he said though sorry Recall you deserved a better brother.
“Shit, my head” Ash slowly sat up gripping his head opening his eyes he realizes he's in a forest
‘A forest, huh?’ Ash got to his feet and noticed hunter marks on the trees. Ash knew these marks were the same ones the tacidae tribe that took him and Recall in used. That was nearly 100 years ago but maybe he’d somebody willing to help him.
Ash’s leg ached as he had been walking for nearly 25 miles normally the tacidae tribe would only hunt 10 miles out from the village he'd know he was on the hunting team. That when he saw it a flash of cyan among the leaves ‘A hunter.’
“How did you find this place?” Ash heard a voice coming from behind him, and he could tell the hunter was worried based on the marks he was getting close to the village.
“Don’t shoot, I was just following the marks on the trees” Ash tried to sound sacred but it was pretty hard when he’s used to leveling mountain ranges with a snap of his fingers.
The parrot hybrid jumped down from the tree branch he perched on "Apologies I didn't realize you were an ally, I’m Parrot x2, second in command of the tacidae.” Parrot , as he was called, was clearly still suspicious of Ash; he could see it in his eyes.
“Nice to meet you, parrot, I’m Ash, and I request a meeting with your leader. ” Ash knew it was a risk but he need a place to stay while he found out how get back home to his family
Parrot hesitated before agreeing to take him to the village during the walk Ash looked around at the tacidae village, at his old home.
“Crazy how a place can manage to look the same after 100 years” Ash chuckled he can spot the house he and Recall lived in.
Parrot gave him a look but didn’t say anything. That's when Ash saw him, the chief.
“Chief Grian, I've found someone who wishes to speak to you” Parrot looked pretty nervous for a reason Ash didn’t know. ‘Was the Chief mean or something.’ That’s when Grian ruffled Parrot hair causing Parrot’s wings to puff up a bit.
“C’mon, no need to be so formal. Even during work I'm still your older brother” Grian smirked then turned to Ash “Nice to meet you. Parrot go take Planet hunting, i wanna have a chat with our guest here”
“Are you su- Never mind I will” Parrot walked over to who Ash could only assume was Planet, whose wings looked very similar to Recall’s they were white faded to light purple. Ash couldn’t help but smile at the scene.
“If you would follow me, God of chaos,” Grian smiled.
