Chapter Text
Deejus was on his phone looking for any jobs looking for people to hire, when he stumbled on any opening at the local cemetery in his town. The job in question was night guard position, but the pay was rather fitting, with pay being $20 each night. Not to mention you didn't need any specific skills, just show up and keep people out.
Deejus thought for a minute, whether or not it's a good idea to apply. Eh what the heck what go wrong it has good pay and he didn't need any specific talents to work. So he decided to apply.
It's been a couple of days after he applied to work at the cemetery, and right now he was getting ready for a meeting, to see if he can actually get the job there. After he got ready he went straight to his car, which was old beat up blue truck.
The truck had bit of rust, scratches, and dents in it, not to mention the old engine, but it still runs pretty good, a bit. As for Deejus he was wearing, an old blue suit, that still looked pretty snazzy, but not flashy, for a job interview. His brown hair was watched and brushed, and put up in his usual ponytail. Not mention he has usual blue and white cap on, over his hair. He was ready.
He got into his truck and drove to where the cemetery is. It was a 20 hour to say the least, but hey bro wasn't late. He walked through the door. To see a tall strong man sitting in his chair, at the end of the desk.
The man had blonde hair, glossy brown eyes, and beach tan. The man had on a black suit, nad red tie, when he look at his face the only thing you can tell by his dead pan expression is that means business.
"Are you Deejus?" The man asked, his tone was deep and scratchy, and the why he talked was like he was planning an assassination on the president.
"Yes, sir that's me." Deejus replied, his voice laced with nervousness, 'cause any wrong move he makes could not not land the job hear, and he really needed this job, and the money.
"Well then sit down, so we can start this meeting." The man pointed to the chair on the other side of the desk in front of him. "By the way, the names Denis." He brought his hand out for a handshake.
"Well nice to meet you Denis." Deejus said, grabbing Denis's hand and shaking, it before sitting down in the red comfy chair.
"So tell me, why do you need this sigh up to work here?" Denis asked, his deep voice laced in curiosity.
"Well..." Deejus started, trying to find the right words to say. "I saw you guys had and opening, and I'm very desperate in finding a job, not to mention I need the money to pay for my mom's medical bills, and I saw that you guys had a good pay and shifts." Deejus looked down.
Deejus's mom was in the hospital for cancer, and Deejus been trying to get money to help his mom out. Not to mention his dad left years ago, and his mom had to raise him on her own, so this is basically his paying his loving, caring mother back for taking care of him for years. After all it's his mom, and he loved his mom dearly.
"Awh, I get it, well sir based on your application I say your good fit for this job." Denis said, a grin on his face as he said it.
"Really?" Deejus questioned, cause he didn't think it would be this easy, but whatever.
"Yes really, but I have to warn you." Denis said he had a pretty serious look on his face.
"Yeah?" Deejus, looked at him with wonder and a bit of fear, but mostly wonder, on what Denis had to warn him about.
Denis looked down and took a quick breather, before looking back up Deejus, he put on the same grin he had minute ago, "you what never mind it doesn't matter, your hired."
"Wait, really?" Deejus asked, a smile growing on his face, that he managed to get a job so quick.
"Yep, in fact I want you to start tonight you think you could do that?" Denis still had his grin on his face.
"Yes, sir I can." And with that Deejus left, and went back to his truck a smile of excitement on his face as he just got a good paying job, to pay for his Mom's bills. And with that he went straight to the hospital his mom is, to tell her the good news.
