Lance was in his room. He was laying in his bed drawing the other paladin of Voltron and there lions. He smiles as he looks at his work. He gets off and the bed and pins his drawings up. "Can everyone come to the bridge we have a guest" lance heard Allura through the speakers. 'I wonder who the guest, could be?' Lance thought before getting up and heading to the bridge. When he arrived, he saw pidge (green and blue aura) and hunk (yellow and blue arua) talking in the corner of the room, Keith (blue aura) and Shiro (blue aura) talking to each other. Allura (gold, yellow and blue) and Coran (blue and yellow) was talking to a stranger. The stranger's aura seemed to be gold and red. The only other person lance has seen with a gold aura is Allura. His aura seems to be as thick as Allura's to. The stranger noticed lance arrived. And seemed to asks Allura something silently because Allura turned around and shakes her head sadly. "Umm can someone tell me who this is?" Lance asked. Everyone turned to lance. "Oh you arrived. This is the guest Allura was talking about but they won't tell us who he is" pidge answers. As she and hunk go over to lance. Lance nods in replay. ,"hey lance" Shiro says as he walks over. "Hello lance" he said in a bored town. "Hey Keith, Shiro" lance said, trying not to blush when Keith said hi. Truth was lance has a small. More like huge crush on Keith. Allura, Coran and the stranger walks over to everyone. Lance stops himself from taking a step back of fear. He didn't want anyone to look at him strangely. But lance was unsure about this stranger because of his aura. "Hey guys" Cortana says smiling "Now that everyone is here I would like to introduce you all to a old friend of mine" Allura says. As the stranger steps forward "Hello. I'm lotor" the stranger, now called lotor, said.
Lance just stares at lotor. He was unsure of what to say because he was so nervous about lotor's aura. Lotor must be evil in some way. No one noticed lance staring at lotor because they were to busy greeting and introducing themselves to lotor. "Hey I'm Shiro. I'm the black paladin." Shiro starts. "This is Keith the red paladin, this is pidge the green paladin, this hunk the yellow alien. and this is lance the blue paladin" when he said the name of each of the paladin he points to them to identify who is who while he speaking. Lotor smiles at them. Allura and Coran smiles as well. Before Keith asks "why are you here lotor?". This snapes lance out of his stare. He looks at Keith then back at lotor wanting to know that answer to. "Lotor is here to help us defeat the rest of the galra empire" Allura says "He is also going to help us get more quintessence For the lions". Lotor's aura adds another colour to his already red and gold aura, black appears as Allura is talking. All the paladin, except lance, nod to say Alright to what Allura says. Lance knows that lotor is lying but he needs to find evidence so other people will believe him because no one knows about him being able to see auras. 'What is he up to?' Lance thinks 'he is royalty, he is evil/dangerous and he is lying' "Number 5 I need your help tracking a quintessence field with lotor's code" Coran says. "Right away Coran", podge says. Coran and pidge walk off to the tracking room. "I'm going to start making dinner. " hunk said before heading to the kitchens. Keith and Shiro just walk off to go train. Lance sits on the couch bored, thinking of something of something to do when he over hears what Allura and lotor are talking about in the corner of the room. "Are you sure he's not him?" Lotor said "yes I'm sure lotor. I would know my own brother" Allura said "and anyway. Lance is human not altean. So please drop it lotor". Lotor sighs "fine Allura. I'm going to go for a walk" replays lotor before he walks off. 'Allura has a brother?' Lance thought
Lance is unsure of how long he sat there thinking about the conversation he over heard between Allura and lotor. 'Allura would have told us if she had a brother right? She wouldn't keep that from us. Why does lotor think I'm her brother? I'm human not altean' lance thought. Just then Coran and pidge walk back into the room. "We have found a quintessence field" Coran said as he enters the room. "Good how long will it take for us to get there?" Allura asks. "At least 3 earth hours, Allura. So we have time to have dinner while we travel there" podge replies. Lotor and Allura nod while hunk comes into the room "good thing I just finished making dinner then isn't it?" He said "can someone go get Keith and Shiro". Everyone looks at each other before lance says "I'll go get them". He then runs off to the training deck. He watched Keith and Shiro finish training before saying "hunk said dinners ready. So clean up and come to dinner". Keith blushes slightly when he realises lance watched them train. His aura turned white. 'That must be embarrassment' lance thought before hearing Shiro says "alright will be there in a bit". Lance nods before going to dinning room. He sits at the table next to hunk and pidge. Coran and Allura were sat at the top of the table next to Allura. Keith and Shiro come into the room. Shiro sits next to Coran and Keith sits next to Shiro. After everyone sits down, they starts eating the space goo. Granted hunk had made the space goo taste of different earth foods but its still space goo.
3 hours later, they finally arrived at the quintessence field. Everyone, but lance, Allura, Coran and lotor, was standing in front of the main window looking at the quintessence field. Everyone who was at the window was amazed at how beautiful it looked. Yes you heard me right. Everyone even emo boy Keith himself was amazed by what they saw out of the main window. "It is so amazing and beautiful" hunk said in shock, amazed by what he is seeing. "That is right number 4" Coran said as he comes over to the window. "Lance, Allura, lotor why don't you come and have look?" Pidge says but she doesn't take her eyes off the quintessence field. Before lance could answer to say Alright I'll come look or even move towards the mirror. Lotor turns to Allura and asks "why don't we show them what happens to royal alteans when they go near a quintessence field?". Allura looks at lotor, nods smiling. "What do you mean?" Hunk asks "What happens when you come close to a quintessence field?" Shiro asks "Your altean?" Keith said "And your royalty?" Pidge asks. Lance already knew answer to most of them questions, so he didn't need to know the answers but lotor just says "watch" before him and Allura walk over to the main window. Suddenly their altean Mark's start to glow a bluey gold colour. "This is what happens when royal alteans come close to a quintessence field" Allura answers. Everyone was wow'd that lotor and Allura's Mark's were glowing that they didn't notice lance coming over to the main window until pidge turns to look at him and her eyes widen.
"Guys if only alteans have those Mark's and only royal alteans glow near a quintessence fields. Then why is LANCE'S GLOWING AND HE HAS GLOWING ALTEAN MARKS!!!"
