Chapter Text
Tonight.. was the night Izuku has been dreading for nearly a week now. Girls night.
She didn't especially like Girls night, it was very.. loud. She loved visiting with her friends! For sure, but.. it was very.. wild.
Mina was teaching Ochako how to twerk and other.. certainly suggestive dances, which was fun to watch, but not fun for Izuku's very bisexual brain. She blushed.
Jirou was sat on the bed, with her small Bluetooth speaker, showing Tsu her favorite songs, most of which were very heavy metal and very loud.
She wanted to ask them to turn it down, but she didn't want to ruin their fun just because she was a little uncomfortable..
Momo was trying to pick up spilled popcorn off the floors.
"Here, let me help you with that, Yao-Momo," Izuku offered. She bent down to help.
"Thank you, Midoriya. Truly. Mina said it was no big deal, and that she could pick it up later, but I don't want someone to step on it! Then it'll get all into the fibers of the carpet and- ughh, what I mean is that it'll be a pain to pick up later so.. I'm trying to do it before anything makes it harder," Momo rambled, putting a hand on her forehead.
"I understand! It's smart to pick it up now.."
Izuku nodded.
Sure, these were her friends, but Izuku felt like she didn't belong. She tried to brush off the impending doom that awaits her tomorow at class, because, well, she was supposed to be studying for a test that takes place tomorrow morning.
But then Mina suggested a girl's night, and Ochako jumped in on the idea, Tsu wanted to go, and Momo 'had' to tag along to help with the party, saying it's her 'duty as class vice president.'
Not that Izuku didn't like Momo, or didn't want her there, but Izuku was pretty sure that Momo just wanted to go to girl's night and was using her position as vice class president as an excuse.
And then the rest of the girls got roped In, (except for Hagakure, she was on vacation in America visiting her grandparents,) so Izuku really couldn't say no.
She wanted the other girls to like her.
Her whole life, she hadn't really ever had any girl friends. She stuck so close to Katsuki, and Katsuki didn't have any girl friends, so neither did Izuku.
It didn't help that all the girls were so scared of Katsuki, so Izuku didn't have much experience talking to girls at all.
"Uh, hey, we should turn the music down.. we don't want Aizawa-sensei to get mad, it's pretty late.." Izuku finally said, which was true, but also she had a headache. Not only from the music, but also from the lingering smell of nail polish since Mina helped Jirou paint her nails.
"Nah! Come on, Izuku! Get involved a little, this is a party!" Mina said cheerfully, making Jirou look at her.
"I don't know, Mina, i'll just turn it down a bit.. I agree with Midoriya that we shouldn't make Sensei mad, especially after what happened earlier today.." Jirou said, her eyebrows furrowed as she nervously twirled her earphone jack between her fingers.
She grabbed the small speaker and clicked the lower volume button a few times.
"Oh come on! Bakugou was fine in the end. There's no reason that should poop our party!" Mina replied.
"Well that still doesn't mean we should make Aizawa-sensei mad. He was shaken up for quite a while after that building almost collapsed on Bakugou.. Kero," Tsu said, scratching her cheek with her pointer finger.
"It was especially scary because Aizawa-sensei is barely ever phased when something like this ALMOST happens!" Ochako said, "He's always like- 'why should I care about when something DIDN'T happen? It's a useless waste of time and it's not logical,'" Ochako crossed her arms infront of her chest and gave her best Aizawa impression, which made some of the girls laugh.
"Yeah.. I guess it's a smart idea to turn down the music after all, heh," Mina said with a chuckle.
Everyone went back to what they were doing while Izuku was just looking at Mina.
Mina had pulled out her phone and was staring down at it with intense eyes and lots of concentration, typing something. Maybe she was texting? Izuku isn't nosy so she brushed it off.
Okay. Maybe she's a little nosey. But she wouldn't be this time!
The room eventually got uncomfortably silent until Mina spoke up.
"Hey guys! We should play a game!" Mina said enthusiastically. Though, Izuku could tell there was a hint of something else behind those eyes. Something sinister.
"That's a great idea to get some class bonding done! What do you have in mind, Mina?" Momo responded,
All eyes were on Momo now. She was confused on why everyone had that look on their faces. The look was one easily identified by Midoriya as a face that said, 'You shouldn't have said that'.
"Well.. how about," Mina said, prolonging her words. "Strip poker?" Mina said with a evil smirk spreading across her face.
Gasps came from almost everyone in the room except for Jirou who honestly expected this. Though, she had a bit of a flustered blush on her face.
"That- That's a very inappropriate game Mina! We can't play that, i'm sorry," Momo said, blushing. And most people in the room agreed except for Jirou who said nothing, and instead observed everyone else.
"Aww! Well then fine. How about.. truth or dare?" Mina replied, tilting her head to the side.
Izuku has seen this tactic before– Mina proposed something really extreme first to make the next suggestion seem not as bad.
"I suppose that's alright.. as long as the questions aren't too absurd, and someone can say no to answering without being peer-pressured!" Momo said with a smile, politely nodding.
"Alright!" Mina said, energetic as always.
She then moved the snack table that was in the middle of the room to the side, with the help of Izuku, so they could make room for sitting in a circle on the floor.
She then instructed people to sit in a circle and Mina agreed to ask a person first.
"Hmmmm.. HMMMMM.. who should I choose.. who should I choose.." she mumbled dramatically while walking around the circle, looking at each individual.
Then she stopped and pointed at Izuku.
"MIDORIYA! I CHOOSE YOU!" Mina said while pretending to throw a pokeball at Izuku. "Truth or dare!" She said, plopping back into her spot in the circle into criss-cross.
All eyes were on Izuku. "Uhh.. u-umm.." Izuku stuttered.
Midoriya wasn't planning on doing a dare just yet, until he saw what intensity of dares Mina has planned. "I choose.. uhmm truth?"
"Hell yeah! Midoriya.."
Mina stood back up and started walking towards Midoriya in a dramatic sense. "Who.. do you have a crush on!"
Gasps came from around the room except from jirou who rolled her eyes. "Mina? A crush? Really? What are we, Middleschoolers?" Jirou said.
"Oh shush! Let her answer!" Uraraka said, a blush on her face. He hands were intertwined infront of her chest, as if she were full of hope.
"I- I'm sorry! I meant to.. uhh.. choose dare," Midoriya said, thinking she was safe.
To be honest, she has gained a sort of attraction.. to Katsuki. Which she didn't want people to know! They only saw Katsuki being mean to Izuku, which is mostly why she didn't want to tell them because they'd think she was some sort of masochist. But.. he was really sweet when it was just the two of them alone. He was really sweet when it was important.
"Oh okay! Well then I dare you.."
Mina said, dragging on her words.
"To tell us who your crush is!" Mina said with the biggest smirk possible.
"Oh! Uhh. Uhmm-"
"Mina, what did I tell you? If Midoriya doesn't want to answer then we shouldn't pressure her," Momo said, furrowing her eyebrows.
"Oh come on! She was so close to answering! Is it someone in this room?" Uraraka said with a small blush on her cheeks.
"N-no! It's not uhmm.. I.. uhm.."
'Well there goes my dignity out the window..' Midoriya thought. She gulped and looked around the room at all the expecting faces.
"My uhm.. the person I like.. is.." Izuku was prolonging her words, she was secretly hoping some handsome prince -preferably by the name of Katsuki- would come and save her from this embarrassment..
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
"Huh?!" Mina spat, her eyes went to the door.
"i'll get it!" Midoriya shouted, standing up from her spot in the circle and darting over to the door.
"What!? NOO!" Ochako shouted, her hands covering her face in defeat.
"Hello?" Midoriya said as she slowly opened the door.
She was face-to-face with Katsuki. Well, not exactly face-to-face, more like, face-to-collarbones since Katsuki is so much taller now.
"Let us in, ya dork," Katsuki said with a smirk.
