Work Text:
It happened so, very quickly.
She was walking Zira home, and then…
that.
It was a blur.
A good blur.
Every glimpse Aika caught of the moon, right from the window next to her bed, reminded her of Zira.
That very, pretty girl.
The pretty girl that she wanted, needed to be closer to.
The moment felt cold,
Yet so warm.
The moment felt lukewarm.
Underwhelming,
but it felt so right.
Like it needed to happen.
Does Zira even feel the same?
Does she wish for that same, deep connection that Aika wants?
Craves?
Does Zira only want her because of the life she craved to abandon? Or is it different?
She didn't want to know the answer to that internally asked question.
Not now.
Not when the moon was shining so bright.
So beautiful.
