Summary
For the next few weeks, Jayce felt like he’d completely lost his mind. Even though he’d been hired to a different department, Jayce pulled some strings for Viktor to be transferred onto his team. He had his cubicle moved to one near his office. Every time he walked past Viktor’s desk, he inhaled his scent deeply, like he could drink it if he could.
Sometimes he hoped it was obvious; the lingering stares, the touches on his shoulder and the small of his back, the leaning in a little too close when he needed to take a look at something.
Jayce rarely listened to anyone else that attempted to talk his ear off, but he was constantly amazed at Viktor’s intelligence. He made it a point to start taking lunch at the same time so that they could have more discussions that reached outside of work subjects.
So yeah, Jayce had a big crush. Maybe if he made it obvious, Viktor would initiate first. Jayce could be patient.
But not this patient.
