Summary
After Jake's dad had left when he was seven, all Jake had to show for it was a lot of bruises and a lot of daddy issues. Despite his father's absence and lack of empathy for his own son, Jake finds himself loving his father unconditionally, wanting to see him, even if it hurts him in the process.
When Roger comes back, asking Jake for his help, his coworkers are quick to catch on that there's more to their relationship than just a deadbeat father and his son.
Jake spirals downwards with no end in sight.
