The four idiots are stupidly protective of their significant other and big worrywarts too. Especially if you aren't a fighter. Kaneda and Lihito are by far the worst.
Kaneda, obviously, knows that looks and a lack of fighting experience can be deceiving, and just because you aren't a Kengan participant doesn't mean you're weak. He, also, disregards that mentality the second he hears any sort of pop or crack coming from your joints. Or a particularly rough cough. Or a sneeze. Or a sniffle. Or- You get the picture. He's mainly worried that the small pains may be a symptom of something bigger, and it takes a lot to convince him not to worry so much. Has any medication you may need on hand (ie painkillers, anti-inflammatories, sinus tablets, etc.) except specific prescriptions, in which case he’s happy to remind you when you need to refill and come with you if you need the support.
Lihito is a silly little MASSIVE hypocrite. He despises the notion that he may be weak, but also treats you like you're made of glass whenever he holds you. Of course, his strength outclasses that of any average person, but he severely over-corrects for this to the point that he seems almost uncomfortable. He isn't, not with you, never with you. In his brain, he can't keep his hands off you, but in practice, he gets a bit nervous. Be prepared for a lot of sweaty-palmed handholding. It gets better with time, trust.
Okubo and Himuro are the most 'normal' about it, but that isn't saying much.
Himuro, since getting his ass handed to him by Kaneda, definitely isn't one to underestimate you. That being said, he knows what it's like to be severely injured, so he does everything in his power to prevent that. It's mainly things like not wanting you to get things from high places (you might fall), or pick up heavy things (you could pull a muscle). He comes across as more doting than condescending for the most part. Househusband vibes, but more frazzled. If you’ve had a semi-severe injury before, he also tries to help any pains from acting up or recurring (massages, he gives you massages is what I’m getting at)
Okubo is only really worried in specific circumstances. He's a generally chill guy most of the time, but that's mainly if you're alone or around friends. In public, however, he's on high alert. If you've read Isshou Senkin and you remember his cameo - it's like that. If you haven't, the shorthand is that he will not hesitate to start a fight in the middle of the sidewalk if he thinks somebody is bothering you. He's a bit like a scary dog, except people keep trying to ask him for an autograph.
