    Remus was more nervous than he had ever been about the full moon that night. It was the first one he had ever experienced at Hogwarts, and his first month of school has been filled with the terrifying realisation that he knew nothing about the wizarding world. He felt out of his depth when his classmates began talking about their favourite Quidditch players, or where made the best butterbeer in Diagon Alley: Remus wasn’t even sure what most of it even was. The fact that every month he now had to further isolate himself only added to these feelings of inadequacy. He felt like a stranger looking in at Hogwarts, not that he himself was a part of it.
