Luz dives into a place of wonder, its tattered edges only accentuating the weave. A world with fewer taxing rules, where she can be herself in full. The decision to stay is easy.
Except, it’s never really that simple, is it?
In this new life, there exist broken kingdoms, shattered by ruthless tyranny. Angry rebels, willing to do whatever it takes to see it all crumble to dust. Things older than the very sea itself, poking at the edges, seeking a way back into what they know to be theirs.
A magicless girl would have to fight hard, if she wished to call it home for even a short spell. Especially one still running from all her problems on Earth.
Luz is determined to succeed or fail in spectacular fashion. There's no other option left.
Or: Luz enters a world a few steps to the left of the one we know, learns different magic, and has new adventures, distinct from the show’s. Focuses on character development and worldbuilding.
