   Summary

   Hii! I'm Daphne and this is my first time publishing a work like this! I’m super excited but also very, very nervous. Any feedback is welcome as well as encouraged! (constructive criticism!) This work will include spoilers for THG, Catching Fire, Mockingjay, AND references/spoilers from/to Sunrise On The Reaping.

   "Backup Wife" follows Effie Trinket and Haymitch Abernathy from the time of the 73rd Hunger Games to Post Mockingjay. The two struggle to define their 23 year relationship, as well as confront their feelings towards one another as well as the world falling apart around them. Both deal with introspective self-confrontation and enter their own mid-life crisis, to which they must stand together for or lose themselves deeper
   Hauntings from Lenore Dove, letters to long lost sisters, a wedding gone-wrong, and a war to be won, and more.
