Zoey was the first to notice the blue demon tiger, who was curled on the couch beside Rumi. Both the leader and the tiger were dead asleep, Rumi leaning against the couches arm, legs tucked under her while the tiger had curled itself right next to her, his body a barrier and keeping her in place. When the initial fear of a demon animal being in their apartment had worn off Zoey squealed softly, snapping a ton of photos of the two until yellow eyes blinked open. Zoey froze as she maintained eye contact to the tiger, who had the stupidest, and creepiest grin on his face. The blank look on his face made her snicker softly and the rapper reached forward carefully, squealing softly again as the tiger bumped his head into her hand accepting the pat. The tiger's fur was surprisingly very soft and Zoey wanted to pat it forever and cuddle up with it.
“What are you doing here?” Zoey whispered, not really expecting an answer only for the tiger to turn to look at the halfling curled against the arm of the couch. Zoey furrowed her eyebrows and glanced between the two a few times. “To protect Rumi?” She asked softly, feeling stupid for talking to an animal who wouldn't respond, but her eyes widened as the tiger turned back with that blank look. Figuring she got it right Zoey smiled softly and gave it another little scratch. “I bet she appreciates it buddy.” She whispered before leaving them to nap and instead heading to the kitchen to cook something for lunch.
Mira had a completely different reaction to the tiger. She was in the dance studio going over the choreography for their next song when she saw a flash of blue following Rumi, who had passed by the opened door. Freezing for a second she sprung into action pulling her weapon from the honeymoon and all but raced out the door ready to attack the demon who was following her girlfriend. She felt the honeymoon ripple and Rumi turned confused, before stepping in front of the tiger with a shout, eyes wide. Mira was mid swing as Rumi darted into her way, and sliced into her shoulder. Rumi whimpered softly, falling to her knees and gripping the wound tightly as the tiger growled and nudged her gently. Mira instantly called her weapon away and crouched down in front of Rumi with wide eyes and stuttering hands.
“Shi- Rumi, I'm so sorry! Why would you protect the demon?! Oh lord cmon let's get you to the bathroom-” Mira helped her up slowly ignoring the solid presence of the tiger who pressed against Rumi’s other leg as she helped her girlfriend to the bathroom where they had their first aid kit. As she was stitching up the wound, Rumi explained herself, raising a hand to pet the tiger now pressed firmly against her side grumbling worriedly though his face kept impassive.
“He's a pet of Jinu’s…. He wouldn't hurt a fly i swear, i dont think he even has any thoughts… it's not a threat at all..” Rumi said softly, flinching at the pain as Mira dabbed the now stitched wound with disinfectant before wrapping it carefully. Mira glanced over at the tiger, humming softly as she reached out a careful hand. The tiger turned to focus on her hand, and after a moment bumped its head against her hand. Mira assumed that he was accepting pets and started scratching gently against his head, smiling gently with how soft he was.
“What's his name?” Mira asked softly, looking up to see Rumi shrug.
“Jinu never said a name, I just started calling him derpy bc of his face, I mean look at him..” Rumi said softly, chuckling at the blank look the tiger had. Mira snorted softly at the name. It fit him a bit too well.
Bobby had froze in surprise at the giant tiger before him. He was sitting at the entrance to the Kitchen, where the girls quiet laughter and talking was flowing from, wide yellow eyes locked on the manager with a blank look. Bobby stayed in place unsure how to even react to the tiger, gulping softly. Why did his girls have a huge tiger in their apartment. He knew for a fact that they didn't get him from anywhere, he would have noticed if that was the case, but he was also confused on how they managed to hide it so well. The blue tiger got up and started to walk towards him, expression unchanged as he got closer. Bobby stayed in place completely frozen and closed his eyes tightly praying the thing didn't eat him. he was surprised instead as it instead sniffed him before nudging its head against his arm like a regular house cat demanding pets. After a few more incessant nudges Bbby finally opened his eyes and reached a shaky hand out to the tiger who accepted the scratches happily, closing its giant eyes and purring softly. He looked up to find the three girls watching with a mix of emotions. Rumi's more bemused but nervous, Zoeys eyes were wide in excitement while Mira just watched with a smirk.
"You girls have a lot to explain... but that can be saved for later.." Bobby mumbled, indulging the fluffy cat with a few more scratches before approaching the girls and filling them in on why he came, the cat settling in beside Rumi as they talked at the table. Occasionally Rumi or Zoey would give it absentminded scratches and Bobby caught the cat gently nudging Rumi's leg when she looked like she got lost in her own head and her nails started digging into her arms. He just shook his head deciding that he'd ask about the tiger later, though it seemed to help the girls, especially Rumi.
They were quick to learn how truly dumb the tiger was. Rumi had told them about the first time she had met derpy, and how he tried to fix the flower pot he knocked over, with no luck, and they truly didn't realize the extent until they witnessed the big cat bump into the wall multiple times, and when he knocked over stuff, would spend an unruly amount of time trying to fix it before one of the girls finally helped him, trying to hold back a laugh. He often could be found snuggled up to one of them while on the couch. Zoey curled into him as she watched the movie, followed Mira around for company, and sat by Rumi when she was having a bad day. Safe to say the tiger became apart of their family very fast.
The bird? Not so much…
