Summary
Set during Order of the Phoenix. Sirius hates being stuck at Grimmauld Place 12. Remus tries to keep him out of trouble, which is easier said than done.
“I dunno,” Remus says slowly, every word requiring tremendous effort. “I think you’re overdoing it.”
Sirius acts surprised, raising an elegantly arched eyebrow. “What. You wanted me to act presentable, didn’t you?”
Remus shakes his head, shaking his hand in front of him, too, like one would ward off evil spirits. “This…” he points at Sirius, “Is weird. You need to stop it.”
“What?” Sirius’s steps towards Remus, his voice low and full of mischief. “Scared you won’t be able to keep your hands off me, huh?”
Remus colours beet-red and sinks deeper into his chair. Too late, he realizes that Sirius must simply be joking.
