Work Text:
My heart keeps the score, it tallies
all the times she flirts and dallies
with him, who I shouldn't worry about
it is a mystery, what she sees in that lout
and I know she's lying
that she is true, and it leaves me blue, from trying
to keep her attention, as if she's a child
and the tantrums she throws, are simply wild
as if she can do no wrong
and I'm weary of being strong
This can't be love, because there's always a fight
She's always right, so I may as well dim the light
and I have no doubt
that he'll move in, once I move out.
