Madoka stood before what was once her hometown, now a ruin, towering over it was a massive witch that was once her mother, who had been a magical girl all along
She was crying over her friends corpses and especially Homura’s, whom had rewound time many times to save her, but now she meet her end
Next to her was Kyubey, the bastard behind all the suffering, just to prolong the life of the universe
”You can make a wish if you wanted to” Kyubey said, making Madoka tense up a bit
She was a fool, but she might have no choice, if she had to break the promise she made with Homura about not being a magical girl, she might not have a choice at this point
She turned to Kyubey and made her wish
”I want to go back and save everyone!”
She felt her soul being pulled out of her body and crystallized, she then grabbed the gem and time started to take steps back, not knowing what the consequences of her wish would be…
Madoka bolted out of her bed, she realized she was in her room filled with Plushies, not a ruined city, she then examined her finger, she had a ring with runes, the mark of being a magical girl
“So it’s true, I am a magical girl now”
She had one chance to set this right, one chance to break this vicious cycle, but first she had to make sure her mother didn’t find out, so she had to act normal
She then went to do her normal routine of saying hi to her dad and helping her brother waking up her mom, she then went to the bathroom and got ready for school
However, her mother got a glimpse of something on her daughters finger before she left, she felt suspicious and that something was wrong…
Everything went as the first day in the previous timeline went, but for some reason, she could hear Sayaka’s thoughts already, something wasn’t right
They then listened to Kazuko’s ramblings about a failed relationship like always, and then Homura transferred in
Then when Madoka was leading Homura to the nurse’s office, she, like in the previous timeline, stopped in the glass corridor, she then spoke
“Madoka kaname, do you treasure-“ she stopped when she noticed something glistening on the pink girls finger, suddenly her eyes widened, she then grabbed her hand saw it, the mark of a magical girl, the ring
She knew Homura would react like this, but then she suddenly transformed quickly and stopped time temporarily with Madoka
”Why…” she began with difficulty
“Wha-“ She then grabbed Madoka by her shoulders
“why are you a magical girl!” She said out loud, scaring her friend
”I can explain-“
”What did you sacrifice yourself for this time!? WHY?!” She said, shaking her back and forth while shedding tears
”Listen!”
”W-what was so I-important y-you had to t-throw your life a-away?” She said whilst crying tears
“I wished to go back and save everyone”
”Huh!?”
”You where dead, and my mother was a witch, I had no other choice…”
“…” she had to think, Madoka was now permanently a magical girl, she couldn’t go back to normal now, she had failed her wish to protect her from Kyubey
But she could save her from becoming a witch
Then she started to lean closer to Madoka’s face, making her a bit uncomfortable
“H-Homura Chan?” She said nervously, however Homura realized time wasn’t frozen anymore and then… she kissed Madoka all of a sudden, without warning, causing the pink girl to go wide eyed and started to blush
The kiss lasted for some time, until she let go of her lips, now she realized Sayaka and Hitomi had seen them like this…
Hitomi ran off, not wanting any part of this, and Sayaka seemed angry at Homura
”Hey transfer student! What are you doing to my friend!”
“I-I can explain”
She de-transformed and went with Madoka with Sayaka following from behind, confused and mad about what she had just witnessed
