    “Alright, alright. We’re gonna head out. Come on, Bob,” Sam said, picking up the kid again. “Say bye to Uncle John and Auntie Olivia.”
    Bob blinked. “Bye…”
    John waved. “Don’t let him drink beer.”
    “He knows that… right?” Olivia whispered.
    “Doubt it,” John replied.
    As Sam climbed back out the busted window, carrying Bob, he grinned at the child and said softly, “You and me, buddy. We’re gonna be the coolest family ever.”
    Bob smiled back, tiny and hopeful.
