Valerie was getting ready for her date. Luna basically ask her out, like this:
“Maybe you just made a move already? I mean, I like to.” Luna said, looking at Valerie with her smug smile. Valerie already has an admirer, Nathan. “...I love to but I rather not.” Valerie exclaimed, crossing her arms. She doesn't want to have another date.
“So. Are you scared?” Luna muttered, poking the nerves at Valerie as she danced around her. “C’mon, Please?” Luna used her cute puppy's eyes which Valerie tried to reflect but to Luna’s credit, it actually worked on her.
“Alright, at 1:00 am. Got it?” Valerie questioned, Luna nodded, winking at the black teen.
“Got it~”
Valerie has a long red dress which has stars on it. She has her mom’s necklace on her neck as she has red gloves on her. She told her dad that she’s going on a date as the said date was at her door. It was Luna who was holding flowers in her hands. She wore a dark purple to light purple dress which had a long gown with cuts between the dresses.
Valerie swallowed. She hasn’t been on a date since with Danny and now here she was, having another date with another person who clearly is not Danny.
“Are you ready?” Luna asked. Valerie just nodded and walked towards Luna, taking her flowers and holding her hands. The two girls waved goodbye to Valerie’s father.
“So what are we going to do?” Luna asks Valerie, wondering what they are doing on their first date. Valerie spotted a pizza place, “Want to go there?” She said, pointing to the place.
“Pizza? Yes Please!” Luna shouted, walking over there.
“Excuse me? Sir, can I have two pizzas, one for me and one for her?” Valerie ordered, The pizza worker walked over and had his workers make two pizzas for the two teens.
As Luna and Valerie sat down, they saw two boys sitting on the other side of their table. They look like they are on their 6th date. “Hey!” Luna shouts at one of the boys who were sitting there. “Oh? Luna? You’re here too?” The boy said, whispering. “Yes! I’m on a date with this woman here!” Luna said, excited.
Valerie heard this and smirked. “Oh you must be her friend. I’m Valerie.” She greeted the boy sitting across the table. “I’m Tobey.” Tobey said, greeting back.
“Who are you dating?”
“Oh I'm dating-” The boy right beside Tobey turned and gasped. Valerie also gasped.
“....Valerie?”
“Danny?”
The two teens look at each other. Well, this is awkward.
The two dated briefly before breaking up however they remain as friends, so this is a shock for them.
“Ah. Well…”
“This is embarrassing…”
Valerie and Danny stay quiet before one of them speaks. “So you're dating Luna I guess?” He said, trying to move beyond the awkwardness. “Yes, I am. Danny.” She moved to take her iced water to drink. They talked about life as Danny explained how he met Tobey and Valerie tells about the date that Luna asked. Tobey laughed at the fact Luna so casually asked a girl out.
“Wait, Did Luna really tell you that?” Valerie confirmed it to be true. “Yeah, she's bold in her words!” Luna’s heart fluttered as she started to blush.
Their orders have finally arrived as the two couples start to dig in. They talk some more before it’s time to head out.
After that, Luna and Valerie went to a park where they are playing beautiful music and lots of rides. “So, Lun. Wanna go on that ride?” Luna chuckled before getting up. “Sure.”
Most of the time, they were riding on the rides, eating festival food and flirting with each other while holding hands. Valerie looked towards the sky as the sky’s color was red yet purple, “You know, your dress looks so red, redder than the sky.”
“And you look pretty cute in that dress don’t you think?” Luna’s face starts to heat up after Valerie says that.
After having fun and getting too chaotic, Luna leads Valerie to her apartment. “I have tons of fun spending time with you. Valerie.”
“Yeah, same here.” Valerie remarked, the two girls have fun with each other and talk with some friends. So yeah this night has been enjoyable for them.
Before going, Luna goes back and kisses Valerie in the lips. Valerie was shocked by this but kissed back. Luna’s face turned completely red as she did this. But nonetheless, the date has been successful. Luna went to her home as she thought about this night’s event.
Valerie went to her room, still wondering about that Phantom kid and the new anti-hero Lupo. But she could die happy as she changes into her night clothes and sleep.
However, before she went to sleep, a mark appeared on her hand. It appears to be a fox. Valerie was confused but she could look into it tomorrow.
