A disease that causes the affected person to grow flowers in their lungs if they love someone who doesn’t reciprocate it.It starts of slow with symptoms similar to a normal cold, just a lot of coughing.
Until you start to cough up petals, the petals become more and more until they turn into whole flowers. And at that point death wasn’t far away.
There was a cure, two even.
Eather the person you love starts to love you back or get the surgery.
The surgery removes the flowers and with it the memories of your loved one.Many people actually refuse the surgery, for them death is more tolerable than the thought of forgetting their love. Sugawara never understood that. You couldn’t possibly love someone so much that you´d rather die than forget them, especially if they don’t even love you back.
But now as he looked at the light pink petals, decorated with specks of blood, that he just coughed up he started to understand.
