Hyungwon was quiet for a second. Then he exhaled sharply and smiled—but it didn’t reach his eyes. Not even close.
“You want to help us out?” he said. “Wanna move out of this rotting closet of an apartment?”
Jeonghan stayed still.
Hyungwon leaned in, voice low. “Then make him fall for you. You’re good at that, right?”
Jeonghan froze.
“…what?”
“You heard me. Make him think you like him. Let him keep giving you things. Clothes. Watches. Bags. Hell, if he buys you a necklace, I’ll pawn it tomorrow. Maybe we’ll finally afford an apartment with hot water.”
“That’s… that’s not funny,” Jeonghan whispered, voice shaking. “You’re joking, right?”
But Hyungwon’s eyes gleamed cold.
“You’re pretty. He’s rich. He’s already half in love. Use it.”
