Summary
Buck and Eddie don’t get along. They bicker, argue, and clash on every call — and everyone at the 118 knows better than to get in the middle of it. But underneath the anger, there’s something else neither of them will name.
When a rescue goes wrong and Buck is badly injured, everything shifts. Trapped and bleeding, he confesses something Eddie isn’t ready to hear — and can't un-hear once he does.
In the aftermath, with secrets exposed and emotions raw, they both have to face the truth: it was never hate. Not really. Just fear. Just love they didn’t know what to do with.
