Jungkook swiftly reaches into his pocket and pulls out his office ID card. Holding it up for Taehyung to see, he says, “This is my office ID, Tae. Now, neither you nor your father should have any reason to reject me. I have a job now.”
He continues, “My distant uncle, who owns an office in Busan, offered me a position there. My father wanted me to work under him, but that was never my desire. I’ve never wanted to work under anyone. But for you, I sacrificed that dream. I’m employed now, earning a significant salary every month. Surely, that should be enough. I’ll send a proposal to your father.”
“Will you love me now, Tae?” Jungkook asks, his voice laced with eagerness.
He is taking away every reason Taehyung could use to reject or complain about him and Taehyung doesn’t like it. Because deep down, he knows Jungkook isn’t lacking and love shouldn't feel like something you've to earn; he’s everything anyone could want.
