both mizuki and rui enjoyed walking underneath the cherry blossoms, it was their favorite activity to do after school. probably because mizuki had that much fun walking with ena that one time, it reminded her of it. rui liked to follow along, wondering if a walk would burn to him new show ideas.
it always did, why did rui bother wondering anymore, no one knew. it must just be his curiosity, that is what he did, how he worked. as soon as he met up with mizuki, his mind went into.
the time under cherry blossoms was a quiet time for the duo, a time to reflect, yet for once, mizuki had words. she wanted to talk so badly, let her words out, but it really was difficult for her.
rui, being the wonderful friend he is, noticed mizuki’s lack of words and commented on it.
“mizuki, you do realize that your words should be heard, right?” rui told mizuki with his sweet and calm tone, clearly caring for mizuki.
with a little bit of hesitation, mizuki responded to him with a smile and a few short words, being: “okay, rui. i will talk.” ‘for you’ is what she wanted to say, but there was no way that could leave her mouth.
“i expect your words now~” rui teased, absolutely holding mizuki to start speaking.
“rui, i—“ right as she was about to say her words, a small petal fell into her mouth causing her to cough and lose what she wanted to say. those words would now have to wait until later
