"He could be good for Remus," she says simply.
"No one is good enough for Remus."
"Except you?" Marlene asks and the question cuts him wide open. "You're looking at him like you have something to say."
"I don't," Sirius says, not sure if he's answering her first question or her second.
She hums, clearly unconvinced. "Could've fooled me."
They stay like that for a while slowly sipping their drinks before she speaks again. "You'll drive yourself mad if you continue on this way."

It's Sirius's sixteenth birthday party. But what should be one of his days of triumph over what he and his friends had conquered that year, turns into Sirius spiraling out of control, unsure if his friends can stop him. Especially not when Remus is off snogging some other guy...
