Chapter 1
It was just a spider,
Or so satoru thought.
See, satoru AWAYS loved science, he didn’t love it he lived for it, so when he took a field trip to the science department in a famous college lab, he immediately had his aunt sign that paper, and off he was with his best friend…Suguru
“Man this is lame.” Suguru whispered to satoru with a chuckle, looking over at satorus sky blue eyes, that were under thick frame glasses
“What?!” Satoru looked at Suguru shock evident in his face “Suguru! How could say that? This is like-“ Suguru cut him off
“Yeah yeah,” Suguru said. “I know I know! This is the greatest place to study science in the world…you said that a lot…” he chuckled his lilac eyes darting around the glass cages that held the ‘superhuman spiders’ the tour guide was talking about,
“There are fifteen spiders in these glass cages, these spider are genetically-“ the lady was cut off by Suguru a confused look etched on his face as he spoke, “um…miss? There are only fourteen…” he said, the lady confused shrugged and said “the researchers must be working on that than,” she said briskly “now let’s move on to the next exhibit..” she said leading the group
“Hey…Suguru, want to take a couple pics? For the school paper.” Satoru said holding up his camera, Suguru smirked “yeah sure!” He said posing for a picture as satoru spoke giddily “yeah- right there! A little to left now- Ow!” Satoru hissed not even noticing the spider crawling away before he could smack it, “what’s wrong?” Suguru said confused, satoru not wanting to concern his best friend shook his head “pinched my skin…” he mumbled “let’s catch up with the class.” He said rubbing the bite now swelling while he and Suguru went to look for the class
Once they found their way back to class satoru caught Suguru giving him nervous glances, satoru sighed getting a bit annoyed not being able to focus knowing his friend was worried so he spoke up “what’s wrong?” Satoru said turning to Suguru who shook his head “are you sure your ok..? I mean your getting a little…pale there…” Suguru said and satoru smiled “I’m good I swear!” He said even though he felt like he was gonna throw up and his head was throbbing and- “Gojo!” The teachers voice snapped him out of this thoughts “you and your friend were talking the whole time while the lady was talking…care to tell me what you were talking about?” Satoru gulped and looked at Suguru nervously and said “nothing…I swear..!” The teacher scolded “don’t make me separate you and your friend while we’re here” he said and walked off, satoru let off a sigh of relief “man…I thought we were in trouble big time” Suguru said and looked at satoru who looked a little…green Suguru shook his head not wanting to push it…
