Summary
James Potter has everything. He’s the star of the football team, popular, and he’s never really had to try hard in school. That is, until his grades drop significantly due to his focus shifting totally to football and he’s told that he can stay on the field under one condition. He gets tutored by the best of the junior class, Regulus Black.
Regulus is the last person James would ever want help from. He’s quiet and annoying dead-set on not being James’ friend, but somehow the only person available to help James not completely fail.
From after school study sessions in the library to hanging around each other’s houses, the two realize that while they might not be the most similar, they make a great pair. So, what starts off as an arrangement to save James’ football career slowly morphs into feelings the two didn’t know they had.
