    At the almost end of My Journey to You, there was a moment—the Gong brothers fighting side by side, taking down a Wu Feng assassin. Both were injured. Shangjue fell unconscious. And for the first time, Yuanzhi cried. The story didn’t continue from there, but I couldn't stop thinking about what might have happened next. So I began writing.

    I love these two brothers deeply. Their bond is powerful, built on loyalty, sacrifice, and unspoken love. But my greedy heart longed for more—for Shangjue to notice the pain Yuanzhi hides so well, to see beyond his strength and into the quiet wounds he carries.
