Valere lay on her bed curled up in pain. It twisted her stomach and made tears prick in her eyes.
Erlina had originally given her a heated water bottle. Yet it has since gone cold.(I know they probably only had metal water bottles back then but shhhhh.)
Valere didn't want to drag herself over to Erlina's room and make her wake up just to heat the water bottle again.
However there is someone who wouldn't mind her waking him up.
She sneaked over to the sun dorm, sneaking over to Zale's bed.
“Zale…” she shook him lightly. His eyes opened slowly and he sat up.
“Valere…” his head tilts. “Why are you here…?” He mumbled groggily.
“Zale I uh… I had some cramps and didn't want to wake Erlina. I was wondering if you could heat this up for me…” Valere grumbled holding up the water bottle.
“I'll do you one better where does it hurt?” He asked while patting his bed signaling for Valere to get on it.
She got up onto the bed. “My abdomen.” She stiffened for a moment as Zale's arms wrapped around her abdomen. Then she relaxed as Zale focused his magic into that area causing warmth to spread into her.
The two fell asleep there curled up together.
