Night fall on the planet known as Earth began to settle in as Starscream laid in sulking and injury, aggravated he didn't win the fight against the Autobots, he stared up at the stars with a sentiment in his mind.
"So many stars..." he thought. "Too bad I'm the brightest one..."
he then looked around his area on the ground.
"Well. Kind of." He thought, he stared off towards the sky with ease. His optics started to close on him for the night, as he laid there, for what seemed like minutes. Apparently felt like hours because he woke up in a totally different place.
Was this a kidnapping? Where was he? This was not the Nemesis, or the mines, or outside! The place felt completely different.
He could hear A really suave voice coming from another room.
"Surely it was this one..." it said, he didn't know what it was referring to, but his little sponge brain insisted he speak up.
"Excuse me!" Starscream yelled out, "where am I? Who are you?"
The voice heard it only to walk out towards the seeker.
"My my... Don't you remember?" It revealed themselves to be a nice, red, velocitronian looking, medic bot from Cybertron.
"I thought you would have remembered by now. My goodness Starscream you have the memory hard drive as limited as a protoform."
Starscream began to immediately blush.
"Kn-Knockout?!" Starscream stammered. "But the war-!!! You-"
"I'm fine thank you." Knockout interrupted. "I saw that you were injured and absolutely needed to take you to my ship."
The medic took out a tool to fix any dents on the seeker, it honestly felt good to see Knockout again.
"You were the best medic on Cybertron..." Starscream reminisced. "Why'd you leave?"
"I was bored." Knockout replied. "Everyone on Cybertron has this mindset of everything has to be a certain way, especially since the death of the last magnus. I don't like the new magnus, his chin bothers me."
Starscream couldn't help but giggle. "You left Cybertron because you didn't like the magnus' chin?"
"Maybe!" Knockout hesitated. "But mostly because i missed you."
Starscream blushed as the medic was finishing up, he seemed better, he also got a sick paint job.
"You missed me?" Starscream asked. "Did i really strike an importance on you?"
"Are you kidding?" Knockout continued. "You practically made me smile everyday before you went on to Megatron."
The seeker hesitated, he still felt like his agressive self, but that kind of made him blush hearing that.
"You must have dust in your cables." Starscream said. "It's been a while since we talked."
"I know." Knockout replied. "Last time we talked, you helped me make an important decision."
Starscream grimaced, that was the last time he was ever able to truly help someone before the war ended, it was about his frame, and how Knockout wanted to change it, before they all got ostracised, he remembered his words...
"Starscream." Knockout said. "I just wanted to thank you once again."
Starscream snapped out of reminiscing of the past and lowered his head.
"Yeah. You're welcome." He muttered,
He wanted to leave, he saw the door but didn't want to leave at all.
He didn't want to leave his old friend behind.
He rushed over to Knockout to give a hug, the red bot's eyes widened.
"I'm so sorry." Starscream said. "I'm so sorry I left you behind."
"Don't be." Knockout hesitated. "You did what you had to do, and that's okay."
The seeker smiled. "You think so?"
The doctor smirked.
"I know so~"
After a couple of hours, Starscream prepared to leave Knockout's ship, the door was wide open for him to leave.
"Are you ever going to go back to Cybertron?" Starscream asked.
"Nah." Knockout responded. "I think I like it here."
The two consolidated a handshake before the seeker transformed into his jet mode.
"Call me if you get lost, okay?" Knockout said. "My door is always open if you need a servo or two~"
"Will do, Doc Knock!" Starscream said as he fled into the sky, Knockout then took out an old photo of him and Starscream before the war.
"Glad to see you're still your old self."
He smiled.
