Join me on a What If journey where we explore what could have happened to Lord Debling.
This story might not be everyone’s cup of tea. Debling is a character created for the Netflix show, he is not canon to the books. So by that measure, every character and location in this story is 100% original and fictional. But it was an interesting story to weave, fun characters to create and a challenging exercise to create an original story about a peripheral character within a known and popular fictional world.
Dedicated to Sam Phillips who could have turned Lord Debling into an unlikable rival and villain but instead portrayed an honorable man who was a real suitor and would likely have been a kind, if absent, husband to Penelope Featherington.
